Central Texas — The devastating floods that have swept through Central Texas have claimed nearly 70 lives, leaving families and local communities in mourning. The latest figures show that 59 of the fatalities were recorded in Kerr County , the hardest-hit area.

One of the biggest tragedies occurred at Camp Mystic , an all-girls summer camp located near the Guadalupe River. To date, 11 teenage girls are still missing , and rescue efforts continue relentlessly.
