Attorney General's Office Names Sritex Commander Iwan Lukminto as Suspect in Alleged Credit Corruption
The President Commissioner (Komut) of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk or Sritex, Iwan Setiawan Lukminto , has been officially named a suspect by the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia (Kejagung RI) . This determination is related to alleged corruption in the provision of credit facilities involving the well-known textile company.
Apart from Iwan, investigators at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes ( Jampidsus ) also named two other people as suspects, with the initials DS and YM .
"Investigators at the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes have named the three people as suspects," said the Director of Investigation at the Attorney General's Office for Special Crimes, Abdul Qohar , in his statement on Wednesday (21/5/2025).
After the determination, Iwan immediately underwent the detention process. He will be detained for the next 20 days at the Salemba Detention Center, Attorney General's Office Branch , to facilitate further investigation.
Until this news was published, the AGO has not detailed in full the roles of each suspect or the amount of state losses due to this case. However, the investigation is certain to continue and will be developed to other parties suspected of being involved.
This case has attracted public attention considering Iwan Lukminto's strategic position in Sritex, one of the largest textile companies in Indonesia which has a major influence in the national garment industry.
